C.H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station, seems a bit wordy to some people. There is a reason for this complex appellation: The family of Cornelius H. Evans, proprietor, owned the original C.H. Evans Brewing Company. The moniker “Albany Pump Station” denotes the historic building in which the microbrewery and restaurant reside. The full name, while quite descriptive, is also quite a mouthful. Most people just refer to us as “The Pump Station.”

unimpressed! my boyfriend and i eat at the pump station all the time, and their burgers are always great. this was the first time i ordered though mealeo, and EH! first off, it said 30-45 mins, i sent my boyfriend to get the food 10-15 mins after i placed the order not seeing the delivery time, and the food was ready, which would have been a nice thing, but when we got the food, it was already cold. fries were cold and soggy, and the burgers were room temperature. and i only live 5 mins from the pump station. we ordered burgers med rare, and they were rare. it was edible but as i said, we've never had problems before so i was disappointed. i swapped onion rings for fries on one of the burgers, and it came with 4 onion rings. overcooked, and dried out. not sure what the deal was, but i hope this isn't a consistent thing.jennifer — 8/5/2012
