Welcome to Valente's!
Here at Valente's, located on 8th Street in Watervliet, we bring the taste of our home to yours. Most of our dishes, though traditionally named, are cooked our own special way. Nadine Valente, our Mother and Grandmother, who used herbs and spices, had her own style of cooking. Her recipes have been maintained since Valente's Family Restaurant opened in 1958. In 1978, Valente's interior was completely renovated to a country style decor with many antiques, Yankee memorabilia, family pictures and collectibles. On September 7, 2003 a devastating fire destroyed the building and all of it's contents. With the help of many people and the support of all our customers, we were able to rebuild. We look forward to serving you for many years to come.
